5 stars (this rocks!@!!!!!!!!!) - okay, lets get started. this game is for veteran players (i recommend) cuz joey is very cunning and tends to go for flashy moves, and uses brute strength too with a very nice combination of magic and trap cards. he also may be very annoyin sometimes. i liked this game cuz it was a grea t improvement over yugi the destiny ( which i have and think its too easy to beat) and kaiba the revenge ( which was too hard for beginers and had WAY too many complicated cards) i'm a pretty decent duellist myself too. some combos to look out for: summoner of illusions effect: summon a fusion card on the field and at the end of the turn, destroy the fusion card. activates by sacrificin summoner of illusions. he really got me with that one. it's hard to counter and it's surprisin to see blue-eyes ultimate dragon attackin u. 5 stars (BIG improvement over Yugi the Destiny) - So Konami did OK with Yugi, but left room for a lot of improvement. They did better with Kaiba, but still had some things to work out. Would the third time be the charm with Joey, and see them produce an excellent game? The short answer: an emphatic YES. For starters, Joey has over 700 cards you can access, including all the ones from Yugi and Kaiba. You don't have to do anything to access cards already won on the two previous games, the program automatically gives them to you. Joey also contains a "level stars" system that allows you to track your skill level, and Joey alters his deck and his playing abilities to match yours. Even better, you can LOSE levels with losses, so there's always incentive to win enough times just to stay where you are! For fans of the cartoon series, Joey plays with a variety of decks as featured in various episodes: Escaroba's "Jinzo" deck, evil Bakura's "Spirit Board" deck, Weebil Underwood's "Insect Queen" deck, the "Revival Jam" deck used by the Marek slave that had "Slyther, the Sky Dragon" (though no Slyther is in it), etc. (I've not got... 5 stars (WOW!!!!!) - First off...DDR Extreme was the worst game I've ever played! Boring songs were everywhere! From start to finish, and "The Legend of Max" is toooooooo hard for anyone! Fortunately, we now have DDR Extreme 2. At first, I wasn't going to get it, due to the fact that it is the sequel to the worst DDR game in history. But it is actually very good. The graphics were awesome, the music selection was very fun to do, and i love the challenge. Buy it, it's a much better game then Extreme! The songs are just too good to be true. I heard most of the songs in the arcade version are on here. I really dont care about that, but songs like "Cartoon Heroes" and "Butterfly" make this game awesome! And that one song made entirely of that anime video. It was so cool. Just buy it, because you wont regret it! 5 stars (BEST GAME EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) - tHIS GAME IS SO COOL AND IT MAKES YOU DANCE BETTER (a big plus if you're in junior high). YOU CAN ALSO PLAY AGAINST REAL PEOPLE ONLINE. 5 stars (This is what "Extreme" was always meant to be) - I'm an enormous fan of Konami's Dance Dance Revolution series, and play the game almost every day of my life. The concept is so simpe - just hit the arrows once they're at the top of the screen, yet once you get going, it's a lot more addicting than you'd expect. What's incredible though, is that doing this for a long enough time can burn up some calories and tone up your calves. It was life-changing experience for me that out of nowhere got me from being lazy to athletic. It's getting bigger and bigger every day in the US, but too bad it still isn't as appreciated as it should be, thanks to monster franchises such as GTA and Halo. DDR Extreme 2 is the sixth installment that Konami has released in the United States (seven if you count the Disney Mix), and it's by far the best one, and it proves to be a great comeback after the largely disappointing Extreme US (although that game is still the recommend... 5 stars (Fantastic game, beyond fun) - I played DDR one night with four of my DDR freak friends and I really loved it. Two of those friends use the game as their own personal workout system, with some good results. After research, I bought DDR Max 2 and some ignition 4.0 dancepads. The gameplay is exhilarating. I started playing with my controller and dancing along because I couldn't wait to play. With or without the dancepad is fine, but it's more fun with the dance pad. Playing just to unlock all the songs and endless mode is addicting, I almost didn't want to leave my room except for food, bathroom and water breaks. The graphics are great, with video in the background and the dancers it's enough to get distracted but it's welcome because it's like being at a real club with video screens. The music varies slightly. There's mostly techno/trance/house songs, with some pop and r&b and soul thrown in. I knew most of the songs before I bought the game because there are a lot of dance hits and classics and there are some songs from the other DDR games on here. You're guaranteed to find something listenable, even if the songs are extremely cheesy ones. Be sure to contact your doctor if you can't stand much stress on your feet if you want to use a dancepad. 4 stars (More options then max and better songs then extreme,) - but extreme 2 has it beet in both. 5 stars (Can't stop the beat!) - Dance Dance Revolution (DDR) Max 2 has the potential to stay the very best party game for a long time to come. With so many things to discover, unlock, and plenty of songs to choose from, this game will never get old (unless your dance pad ceases to work). Mastering the beginner level is hard enough, but to venture to higher places on the DDR scale gives you quite a sweat and will be hard for any dance master and newbie alike. 2 stars (Very Dissapointing) - My biggest beef with the game, that if fixed, would make it worth ten times its weight in gold would be that the Virtual Hours pass by in a matter of seconds. Pretend it's 4:00 am. If the boy walks form one tree over to another tree two feet away !POOF! It's 8:00 am. Then you go through the small cut scene where he finds the cave and!POOF! It's all the sudden 11:00 pm and time to go to bed, but there is nowhere to sleep. Other than that, the gameplay is fun, the mini-games are awesome, making tools is fun and hunting is awesome but difficult. Once you get the hang of keeping them alive for several 2 hour days, it gets a lot easier as things begin to float up on shore and other surprises. Hope you can survive long enough to escape, cause it almost made me pull what's left of my hair out. 5 stars (Love, Love, LOVE Lost in Blue!) - This is yet another reason to buy a ds!! Lost in Blue is a unique and fantastic game. It's so addicting. It's got elements of a collection game...yet you're trying to survive, so you mostly collect food. You can hunt, fish, dig, and other stuff I probably haven't discovered yet, with the stylus. My favorite is spearing fish in the water with my 'spear'. It's also got elements of puzzle and mystery games. You have to discover things on the island, and figure out what you need to find to make new tools. In the beginning, its really tough to find edible food, but later on, you have a multitude of choices. I highly recommend Lost in Blue, especially if you love DS and want more stylus time in games. :) Enjoy! 5 stars (GREAT GAME!!!) - I love this game. It's SO addicting! 5 stars (A definate hit!) - After not being able to find this in any store, we ordered online and received it in a few days, just in time to take on vacation. My 13 & 14 year-olds played it every day once we came in from the beach, and kept them from bickering as they usually do when inside in the same room (and kept my sanity as well!) They even had mom trying it, after sending them out on the balcony so they couldn't hear me! Sleepovers also now have an activity to keep them busy for hours, along with the DDR. Looking forward to the next one~ PS-it is not obvious that you need to puchase a separate microphone or headset to play this game. (We prefer the microphone). Get 2 if you have more than one child! 5 stars (Not just for kids...) - We got the game for our kids and their friends to play but it turned into a duet showdown between the adults! The game is a ton of fun! 4 stars (Karaoke Revolution V3 - Great for the whole family.) - This game was a lot of fun for the whole family. The characters are comical and have their own personalities. The game's a favorite for visiting friends and for parties. I only wish that it included more songs. 5 stars (Better than the first) - This game was so awesome. It is twice as fun as the first one is. I hope the third is just as good. If you like singing and you don't mind doing it in front of friends, this is the game for you. My friends and I have contests to see who is the best. We are all in college and enjoy playing the game. We are even doing a floor program with it. Go CCSU Blue Devils!!! 5 stars (Fun fun fun) - for the whole family. I purchased all three versions for my daughter and she absolutely adores #2. I do suggest that if you are buying this for a younger maybe slightly tone deaf child that you invest in some ear plugs along with it. Perfect for entertainment at a birthday party too! 3 stars (Wish it were more "user friendly") - Both I and my wife love the DDR style games and we thought this would be a fun blast for parties etc. My wife is a trained vocalist so I knew she would rock on gameplay, but heck, even I used to sing in a variety of garage bands. These games rely STRICTLY on pitch variations...which really stinks for people like me who can't seem to hit some of the high notes (or sustain them). It was very disappointing to not be able to pass a song by "singing" the correct words with the correct timing....most songs you can simply "hum"out loud and pass the stages. I was looking for a simple fun party game, not vocal training. while my wife still loves them I can't recommend them for everyone. Unless you have a high pitched/tone vocal style or have a musical background you will probably be disappointed. ...
