This is dumb ok if you want a "party" game play the first 6.........6! do you want your great great great great grand kids to be playing mario party 500 on the game triangle? they want you do buy stuff for the gamecube so that youll buy more stuff for the next consul. it is probably fun but i don't recomend 5 stars (Whatever will they think of next?) - When Mario Party 1 came out, evryone knew that Nintendo was going to take a huge leap in the world of multiplayer action. The sequel came out quickly and the game soon attracted peoples attention. But with the sports section being filled up, Mario Party was taking a bad turn. After a while, Mario Party 3 came out and the games began to fly off the shelves once more. When the Gamecube arrived, Mario Party 4 came right after it came out. 5 and 6 completely revoulutionized the gaming industry with the return of the microphone. But it would take some time before Mario Party reached the top of the gaming industry. Soon more company's started to take over Nintendo and it looked like the company would implode. Enter Mario Party 7! The best game for multiplayers {Except for Super Smash Bros. Melee! LOL.} now even more fun than you can shake a stick at! Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Wario, Waluigi, Toad, Boo, Bowser Jr, Toadette, and newcomers: Birdo and Dry Bones are all here to join in on the ultimate party of the century! Trust me, you won't regret it! 4 stars (The Party Returns) - The past few years have really shown that Nintendo has come a real long way with their highly acclaimed video game series for the Gamecube. Yet out of all of them, none of them has ever been as interactive as the Mario Party franchise. Since its debut for the Nintendo 64 back in 1998, it has arguably been a well-recognized institution that has still gotten better with age. The last one, Mar... 5 stars (Global Warming, evolution incommensurable issues ) - I found this to be an eloquent but flawed indictment of the ways in which conservatives are doing an endrun around science to promote their various agendas. But as a science supporter, but a Darwin critic, I was a little alarmed by the bad advice the author received from the very peer review bodies he promotes. The problem is that, for example, global warming, about which the book is excellent, and evolution, the most confusing of the issues, are not really in the same category. We can demand science on the issue of global warming, and expose conservative fraud, but if we demand science on evolution, then we should subject the current reign of Darwinian theory to scrutiny, there to find that, as theory, its scientific status is open to question. The behavior of creationists is a very distracting noise here, because it drives science defenders further into dogma, and into a hole. The author shows how relying on the standard sources of science advice, like the NCSE, will simply fill your head with the Darwinian boilerplate syndrome, which, whatever else their failings, the rightwing critics are well aware of. Having studied Darwinian theory carefully from the suppressed science critics they realize that they can trump the wrongly educated Dawkins/science generation. It seemed impossible ten years ago, now it's happening. Time to wake up on Darwin's theory, which means accepting the reality of evolution, but looking critically on the theory of natural selection. Science journalists ought to learn to be skeptical of the failed peer review system in biology and evolution. It's going to be the undoing of science, and one dreads to think what the next ten years will bring. Beyond that, many of the other issues raised make for an insightful expose, it is a pity the author is suckered into the Darwin trap. 5 stars (Global warming, evolution incommensurable issues. ) - I found this to be an eloquent but flawed i... 5 stars (I found another elegant cookbook that makes the best wedding present!) - I am an avid, but amateur chef and am getting married in Fall 05. I've been given a bunch of cookbooks. My favorite show on Food TV is the Barefoot Contessa . . . but my favorite cookbook so far, hands down, is called NOT ON LOVE ALONE by Jessie Carry Saunders. It has a friendly, intimate tone, and it feels like something written by a young woman for other young couples. Just like Ina Garten, the recipes are elegant and delicious without ever feeling fussy. It has a friendly, appealing feel, like the author is in the kitchen with you, telling you stories about the recipes as she teaches you how to make them. Also, it's a super-high quality book -- it's a hard cover, the pages are nice and thick, and the watercolor illustrations on every page make the book seem like something you could display on your coffee table as easily as you could use it in the kitchen. Like I said, I love the Barefoot Contessa, but if you want a similar style cookbook by a pretty young chef, my recommendation is NOT ON LOVE ALONE. Trust me, you will be so happy with it! 4 stars (Definitely Worth Getting) - If you love Ina's Barefoot Contessa show on Food Network you will absolutely love this cookbook. The recipes are not intimidating, rather they are concise, elegant and delicious. Definitely want to get the rest of her books. Hope this review was helpful. 5 stars (Delicious recipes, great pictures, sensible ideas) - What a great combination of tips for entertaining, great recipes, and beautiful photos that help you visualize your results! I bought this book because of its approach of doing 95% of the food prep ahead of time so the host is free to spend time with the guests. I was planning a finger-food party and didn't want to spend the whole time in the kitchen. I tried many of the recipes along with some of my stand-bys. The food turned out great, and thanks to Ina's tips about how to arrange platte...
